Add some sparkle to your 4th of July festivities with this refreshing lavender sangria!!
What you need:
- 750 ml Pinot Grigio wine
- 1/3 Cup Lavender Simple Syrup (or try our Lemon, Peach or Cranberry)
- 1/2 cup Lavender Lemonade Mix
- 1 qt water
- 2-Cups fresh blueberries
- 2-Cups fresh strawberries-sliced
- 2-Cups fresh raspberries
- Sparkling Water
- Lavender Sugar Cocktail Rimmer
Slice strawberries, and add them with the blueberries and raspberries to a pitcher. Pour the bottle of wine into the pitcher. Mix, cover and chill in the refrigerator overnight. This allows the fruit to infuse into the white wine.
Stir lemonade mix and water until lemonade mix is dissolved. Pour lemonade into silicone ice molds and freeze overnight.
Place lemonade ice cubes in each glass rimmed with lavender sugar. Pour the sangria in the glasses and top off with sparkling water and serve immediately.
Garnish with flag pics and festive straws.
Apple Stars: Use Granny Smith apples. Cut the stars with small star cookie cutters, and placed the cut apple stars in a small bowl with freshly squeezed lemon juice to keep them a fresh white color.
