Classic Waldorf Salad with a Twist

A fresh, modern spin on a classic favorite! This colorful salad combines crisp apples, crunchy celery, and toasted pecans in a light White Balsamic vinaigrette with a touch of Hibiscus Syrup. Bright, flavorful, and elegant—perfect for entertaining year-round.

What You Need:

  • 2 crisp apples (like Honeycrisp or Gala), diced
  • 2 stalks of celery, thinly sliced
  • ½ cup toasted pecans, roughly chopped
  • ⅓ cup seedless red grapes, halved
  • 1 tbsp Hibiscus Syrup
  • 2 tbsp White Balsamic Vinegar
  • 2 tbsp Lavender Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Lavender Pink Sea Salt
  • Optional: For a creamier vinaigrette, add 2 tbsp mayonnaise or yogurt instead of olive oil and serve on butter lettuce or mixed greens.

Directions:

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the hibiscus syrup, white balsamic vinegar, and olive oil. Season with salt to taste.
  2. In a large bowl, combine diced apples, sliced celery, grapes, and toasted nuts.
  3. Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss gently to combine.
  4. Serve chilled on its own or over a bed of greens.

Tips:

  • For extra flavor, try adding a sprinkle of crumbled blue cheese or feta.
  • This salad pairs beautifully with grilled chicken or a glass of sparkling lavender lemonade!
